In-Home ABA Services

ABA services (Applied Behavioral Analysis) taking place in the home or natural environment settings.

Our ABA services are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis as well as emotional support & training.

E

Functional Communication Training

Strictly focuses on language development in a socially appropriate sense.

E

Verbal Behavior

We work with clients on how to mand (ask for things), tact (identify objects) and interverbal behavior (which works with teaching clients how to have conversations with others).

E

Adaptive Skills Training

We teach clients daily living skills such as independently getting dressed, eating, brushing teeth, taking baths, etc.

E

Parent Training

At Bouquet we feel that parents, family, and caretakers are the key to the client’s progress in our ABA services. Consistency with applications of interventions and goals are key to success. We offer consistent parent coaching throughout therapy as well as require a 16 hour parent training service before intervention begins.

Treatment Modalities

Discrete Trial Training

DTT mostly used to create new foundational skills for our clients. This type of training uses contrived reinforcers and a sit down table approach. It is excellent to teach attention, imitation, as well as labeling skills.

Pivotal Response Training & Play Therapy

Uses play as a way for the child to learn skills using natural reinforcers of their choice and at the same time teaching essential skills such as language acquisition both receptive and expressive and other essential skills.

Social Skills Training

Starting with role play one on one with a therapist and then joining a social skills group with other children with special needs, and finally working on social skills with a neurotypical child in order to help them mainstream into society without being labeled.

Some goals of social skills training include but are not limited to:

  • Increasing eye contact
  • Responding to other’s emotions
  • Understanding other’s perspectives
  • Sharing
  • Cooperative play
  • Interpreting the body language of others
  • Discussing different topics and maintain a conversation
  • Good sportsmanship
  • Maintaining and creating friendships
  • Being able to play up to 20 minutes at a time
  • Teaching imaginary play
  • Role playing
  • Initiating play and conversation with others
